    Department of Tourist Services or DTS is the mandatory registration which needs to be attained by the owner of every hotel, restaurant, travel agencies, travel guide or allied services provider operating in Pakistan

    Rules & Regulation

    • All the hotels and Travel Trades include hotels and restaurants, tour operators, guides for the tour, and travel agents as well follow the ordinance and set of rules which come under the head of the following three Acts:

      • The Pakistan Hotels and Restaurants Act, 1976, and Rules, 1977.
      • Travel Agencies Act, 1976 and Rules, 1977.
      • Tourist Guides Act, 1976 and Rules, 1977.

      Their duty includes the registration and allotment of licenses of hotels, tourist guides, travel agencies, and restaurants which fulfills the rules and regulations of these three Acts.
